Terms of Use

Effective Date: August 3, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Money Counter app and related services. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”).

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, purchasing, or using Money Counter, you agree to these Terms of Use. Apple's Standard EULA also applies. If these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA controls to the extent required by Apple or applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

License Scope

Subject to these Terms and the Standard EULA, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Money Counter on Apple devices you own or control for personal use or your organization's internal business use. This license does not permit you to:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the app except where applicable law permits it
  • Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the app's source code except where applicable law permits it
  • Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially provide the app to others
  • Use the app unlawfully, disrupt its operation, or attempt unauthorized access

Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Money Counter may offer premium features through in-app purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions. Prices, durations, trial terms, and included features are shown before purchase. By purchasing, you agree that:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when Apple confirms the purchase
  • A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it before the end of the current billing period; Apple displays the effective renewal and cancellation timing for your account
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings or the App Store under your Apple Account
  • Refund eligibility and processing are governed by Apple's policies and applicable law; requests may be made through Apple
  • If a subscription price changes, Apple will provide any notice or consent flow required for your storefront

Your Records and Responsibilities

Money Counter is a counting and record-keeping tool, not a bank, accounting service, tax adviser, or financial adviser. You are responsible for checking counts and exports before relying on them, maintaining any backups you require, and complying with laws and record-keeping obligations that apply to you. Local data may be lost if you delete the app, lose a device, or disable services without an available backup. Optional iCloud sync depends on your Apple Account, network connection, storage, and Apple's services.

App Updates

We may provide updates that change features, compatibility, security, or availability. Updates are delivered through the App Store and may install automatically if you have enabled automatic updates. Older versions may eventually stop working correctly as operating systems and external services change.

Intellectual Property

The Money Counter app and all of its content, features, and characteristics, including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, as well as the design, selection, and arrangement of these materials, are our property and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Money Counter is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the app, calculations, exports, sync, or third-party services will always be accurate, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use Money Counter. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law and do not limit mandatory consumer rights. Any additional limitations in Apple's Standard EULA also apply.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for third-party claims, losses, or costs caused by your unlawful use of Money Counter or material violation of these Terms. This section does not apply to the extent prohibited by consumer-protection law.

Third-Party Services

Money Counter uses external services whose availability and terms we do not control:

  • Apple App Store and StoreKit for app distribution, purchases, subscriptions, and purchase restoration
  • Apple iCloud and CloudKit for optional syncing between your devices
  • Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics for limited usage analytics and crash diagnostics as described in our Privacy Policy

Termination

Your license terminates if you materially fail to comply with these Terms or the Standard EULA. We may also discontinue the app or particular online features. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, and governing terms, will survive.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the app, law, or services. We will post the revised terms here with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. Changes do not retroactively reduce mandatory rights. Continued use after revised terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law and the governing-law provisions of Apple's Standard EULA. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory protections or the courts available to you under the law of your usual place of residence.
